“Laurent Fabius, French Minister of Foreign Affairs, has asked Jean-Charles Naouri, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Groupe Casino, to serve as his special representative for economic relations with Brazil. Mr Naouri has accepted the assignment.
Mr Naouri has widely recognised experience in international economic and business issues. He also has high-level experience in both the public and private sectors as well as in-depth knowledge of the Brazilian market. He will support efforts by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the government as a whole to contribute to France’s economic recovery, promote the development of its companies in Brazil and showcase France’s attractiveness for investors, in order to drive growth and create jobs. His mission, which is in the public interest, will be to strengthen relations between the two countries.”
