Cnova N.V., a company which combines the e-Commerce businesses of Cdiscount (in France, Latin America, Asia and Africa) and CNova Brazil announces the appointment, as of today, of Vítor Fagá de Almeida, as Chief Financial Officer.
Mr Fagá de Almeida, 39 years-old, of Brazilian nationaly, earned his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Campinas State University (Brazil). He began his career serving in Finance positions across several industries, including retail and healthcare, and as a strategy consultant with the Boston Consulting Group. In 2010, he joined Grupo Pão de Açúcar (GPA) the finance department where he took several positions including the role of CFO and Head of Investor relations.
Since 2013, Mr. Faga de Almeida has served as CFO of Via Varejo. Mr. Fagá de Almeida takes over the role at Cnova from Jean-Jacques Charhon, who was unable to continue serving due to family reasons.
